Located on the western fringe of the Morton National Park in south east New South Wales, Wog Wog offers a great launching pad for various hikes throughout the National Park. A stones throw from the Great Diving Range, the campground provides great access to some wonderful scenery.
The Wog Wog camping ground is reasonably easy to access. The camping ground is located 22km south of Nerriga, with the turnoff 17km along Nerriga Road south onto Charleys Forest Road. The road into the camping ground is a 5km gravel road, but can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan.
The camping ground offers around thirty individual campsites. The camping ground surface is quite hard so pick a spot where you can get the tent pegs in.
Given the vicinity of the Wog Wog campground in relation to the Morton National Park, hikes throughout the national park are obviously the predominant activity when visiting the area.
Best Time To Go
Given the campground is subject to flooding, it is recommended that the campground is visited during the dryer months.
