Located in the Woodside State Forest in south east Victoria, White Womans Waterhole is located around a five minute drive from the small town of Woodside. White Womans Waterhole offers all the benefits of a camping ground in a state forest. The areas currently looks beautiful with the revegetation growing through after the recent bush fires that engulfed the area.
The White Womans Waterhole camping ground is reasonably easy to access. The camping ground is located on the gravel Won Wron Woodside Road, half way between Won Wron and Woodside. The road gets used quite frequently so is suitable for 2WD's and caravans.
The camping ground offers around forty individual campsites. All the campsites are very similar and there is no individual site that is more appealing than any other.
The White Womans Waterhole campground offers numerous activities. Activities available for campers include hikes through the state forest, including the worthwhile walk to the waterhole.
Best Time To Go
There is no "best" time to visit White Womans Waterhole. The campground is good all year round as is not subject to flooding and the ground doesn't often get too hard given the extensive grass cover.
