Located in the Otway National Park on the south coast of Victoria, Stevensons Falls is located around a five minute drive from the small town of Barramunga. Stevensons Falls offers all the benefits of a camping ground in a National Park, including hiking and relaxing. Make sure you take a walk to the picturesque falls.
The Stevensons Falls camping ground is reasonably easy to access. The camping ground is located approximately 5km off the Forest-Apollo Bay Road, with the turnoff at the phone box in the centre of Barramunga. The road into the camping ground is a gravel road but can be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan. The road can get very slippery after heavy rains.
The camping ground offers over fifty individual campsites. All campsites offer a great experience, so there is no actual "best spot".
Given the location of the Stevensons Falls campground, it offers numerous activities. Activities available for campers include hiking and relaxing. There is also plenty of room for ball sports. The walk down to the waterfall is well worth it.
Best Time To Go
There is no best time to visit Stevensons Falls, as it is generally pleasant all year round. It does however get very cold in winter so make sure you rug up.
