Located on the banks of the Murray river on the Victorian border, Police Paddocks is located around ten minutes from the town of Rutherglen. Police Paddocks offers all the benefits of a camping ground on the banks of the Murray, including swimming, fishing and boating.
The Police Paddocks camping ground is very easy to access. The camping ground is located at the end of the Police Paddocks road. The road into the camping ground is a gravel road but can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan. Follow the River Acess Road.
The campground offers over fifty individual campsites. All the campsites are very similar and there is no individual site that is more appealing than any other.
Given the location of the Police Paddocks campground, it offers numerous activities. Activities available for campers include fishing and swimming in the Murray river, and all other water based activities. It may be difficult to lauch any larger watercraft from the campground area.
Best Time To Go
Given the campground is located on the banks of the Murray river, it is recommended that the campground is visited during the warmer months. The campground is not subject to flooding given its elevation in relation to the water level.
