Located in the Warby Range State Park, the Pine Gully Picnic Area is located around a twenty minute drive from the popular tourist town of Shepparton. The Pine Gully Picnic Area offers all the benefits of a camping ground in a State Park, specifically bush walks.

 

Access

The Pine Gully Picnic Area camping ground is very easy to access. From Wangaratta take Rowan street west, to the end. Take a right onto Phillipson street then a left at the end onto Edwards street. After a couple of kilometres veer left onto Wangandary road for around 10km. The campsite is just 200m from the main road. The road into the campsite is a gravel road but  can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan.

Best Spot

The camping ground offers around 40 individual campsites. There is limited shade so get in early to grab the best spot.

Activities

The only activity available at the Wenhams campground is a few bushwalks. The picnic tables and fire pits add a bit of value to the camping experience.

Best Time To Go

The camping area is best visited during the warmer months, as it can get pretty cold in the winter months.
