Located on the banks of the Murray river on the Victorian border, the Nyah camping ground is located in the heart of the small town of Nyah. Nyah offers all the benefits of a camping ground on the banks of the Murray, including swimming, fishing and boating. Look out for the Nyah and District Harness races, only a stones throw for the camping ground.
The Nyah camping ground is extremely easy to access. The camping ground is located 200m from the city centre of Nyah. The road into the camping ground is a great with a sealed road directly from town.
The campground offers over one hundred individual campsites. All the campsites are very similar and there is no individual site that is more appealing than any other. The grass at Nyah is very good, which will definately lead to a good nights sleep.
Given the location of the Nyah campground, it offers numerous activities. Activities available for campers include fishing and swimming in the Murray river, and all other water based activities. The boat ramp offers the ease of launching a small boat.
Best Time To Go
Given the campground is located on the banks of the Murray river, it is recommended that the campground is visited during the warmer months. The individual campsites are elevated in comparison to the actual banks so it is very rare that it floods.
