The Notley's camping ground is reasonably easy to access. Turn east off Bendigo-Pyramid road (C336) 12km north of Eaglehawk onto Evans road for 4km, then south at the T intersection along Neilborough-Eaglehawk road for 5km.
The camping ground offers well over 100 individual campsites. There is limited grass in the area so grab a soft spot for a better night sleep.
The location of the Notley Picnic Area provides good access to a number of walks including a 2.5km Frogmouth walk, or the Old Tom Mine Walk at the nearby Shadbolt Picnic Area.
Best Time To Go
Although the campground is located in central Victoria where it can get cold in winter, the time of year that this location is visited, will generally have no impact on your overall experience.
