Located in the humble Mannus State Forest in southern New South Wales, Mannus Campsite is located around a five minute drive from the small town of Tumbarumba. Mannus Campsite offers up a great little spot to stay the night on the way to your next destination.
The Mannus Campsite camping ground is very easy to access. The camping ground is located 50m off Linden Roth Drive, with the turnoff approximately 7km west of Tumbarumba. The road into the camping ground is a sealed road that can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan.
The camping ground offers around five to ten individual campsites. Given the reduced number of campsites, the best spot is probably opposite the toilets. Although the road in accommodates caravans, the actual campsite cannot be accessed by a caravan.
The Mannus Campsite camping ground isn't somewhere you would travel for a large array of activities. Limited fishing exists in Mannus Creek and various basic walks in the State Forest are available.
Best Time To Go
The creek will pretty much determine your experience camping here. Visiting in Spring is likely to offer greater volumes of water in the creek, however mid to late Autumn offers picturesque scenery.
