Located on the awe inspiring Blowering Reservoir on the north western fringe of the Kosciuszko National Park, Log Bridge is located around a fifteen minute drive from the small town of Talbingo. Log Bridge offers all the benefits of a camping ground on a river, including swimming, fishing and boating. The reservoir is renowned for its great jet skiing. The inclusion of bins at the campsite offers a nice little luxury.

Access

The Log Bridge camping ground is very easy to access. The camping ground is located 22km north of Talbingo up the Snowy Mountains Highway. The road into the camping ground loops back over the highway and is a sealed road that can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan, with the campground around 1km off the main highway.

Best Spot

The camping ground offers around ten individual campsites. The best place would have to be at the top of the hill. Don't be confused between the campground and the picnic area. The picnic area is the first one you come across, whereas the camping ground has the larger bins.

Activities

Given the location of the Log Bridge campground, it offers numerous activities. Activities available for campers include fishing, swimming and boating in the river, with jet skiing being a favourite amongst campers.

Best Time To Go

Given the campground is located in close proximity to the Great Dividing Range, it is recommended that the campground is visited during the warmer months. The roads in the region can get icy at times.
