Located just north of the magnificent Walls of Jerusalem National Park, Lake Rowallan Bridge offers a good spot to setup your caravan, throw in a fishing line and relax.
The Lake Rowallan Bridge camping ground is reasonably easy to access. When coming from Mole Creek, turn left and travel 17.9km from the Mersey Forest Road turnoff. The actual campsite is just before you cross the bridge on the left hand side. The road into the campsite is a 4km dirt road but can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan.
The camping ground offers around ten to fifteen individual campsites. The only downside is that it is pretty rocky so it's not suitable for tents.
The river flowing through the campsite provides ample opportunity for fishing, but is not suitable for any other water activities. The river can get quite low in the warmer months.
Best Time To Go
The proximity of the town to the Walls of Jerusalem National Park, means it can get pretty cold in winter. The best time to visit this campsite is in the warmer months.
