NUMBER OF CAMPSITES: 50
GPS: -41.4412, 146.1312
THE VIBE: 6.5
Located just north of the magnificent Walls of Jerusalem National Park, the Lake Rowallan Boat Ramp offers a good spot to setup your caravan, then enjoy an array of watersports.
The Lake Rowallan Boat Ramp camping ground is reasonably easy to access. When coming from Mole Creek, turn left and travel 19.9km from the Mersey Forest Road turnoff. The campsite is around 6km from the start of the gravel road, but can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan.
The camping ground offers around fifty individual campsites. The only downside is that it is pretty rocky so it's not suitable for tents. Grab a spot near the far end near the trees, for a good camping experience.
As the campsite is located right next to the lake, it is a great spot for fishing, swimming and boating. The boat ramp is invaluable for launching your watercraft.
Best Time To Go
