Located in the humble Mannus State Forest in southern New South Wales, Lake Mannus is located around a ten minute drive from the small town of Tumbarumba. Lake Mannus offers all the benefits of a campground on a lake including fishing and boating.
The Lake Mannus camping ground is reasonably easy to access. The camping ground is located 5Km off Linden Roth Drive along Mannus Lake Road, with the turnoff approximately 7km west of Tumbarumba. The road into the camping ground is a 5km gravel road that can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan.
The camping ground offers around twenty individual campsites. We don't believe there is an actual "Best Spot" at this campground.
Given the volume of water in the lake is largely subject to the amount of rainfall, activities at the campground are largely hit or miss. The older boat ramp provides access for smaller watercraft. The lake also provides an opportunity for small scale fishing.
Best Time To Go
Given the lake is contingent on the quantity of rainfall, we believe that Spring would be the best to time to maximise the enjoyment of Lake Mannus campground.
