Located in the heart of central Victoria, the Laanecoonie Recreation Reserve is located in the small town of Laanecoonie, approximately 30km west of Bendigo. Laanecoonie offers all the benefits of a camping ground on a river, including boating, fishing and swimming.
The Laanecoonie camping ground is very easy to access. The camping ground is located just off the main road, next to the Loddon river. The road into the camping ground is a good 50m gravel road that can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan.
The camping ground offers between 50 and 100 individual campsites. Each individual campsite offers a great experience but the spots next to the river are the best spots.
There are an abundance of activities at the Laanecoonie campground, including boating, fishing and swimming. The playground will also keep the children entertained for hours.
Best Time To Go
Although the campground is located next to the river, the time of year that this location is visited, will generally have no impact on your overall experience.
