Located on the western shore of the scenic Arthurs Lake in central Tasmania, Jonah Bay camping ground provides a great launching pad for those who love boating. Boat access to the lake is available, however please note that the campsite is closed between 1 May and 1 September.
Access
The Jonah Bay campsite is reasonably easy to access. From the A5/B51 junction, head north along B51 for 10km. Turn east off B51 then take a right at the Y junction (follow the boat ramp sign) for 5km, where you will find the campsite.
Best Spot
With around fifty individual campsites on offer, anywhere will provide a pleasant experience.
Activities
Arthurs Lake provides plenty of opportunity for swimming, fishing and boating. Have a ball out there.
Best Time To Go
Given the closure of the campsite over the winter months, visit the campsite in the summer months.
