Located east of the Copeland Tops State Forest in eastern New South Wales, Copeland Reserve is located around a ten minute drive from the popular town of Gloucester. Copeland Reserve doesn't provide a lot of options when it comes to activities, but is still an enjoyable place to drop in for a few nights given its location.
The Copeland Reserve camping ground is very easy to access. Located just off the sealed main road (Scone Road) approximately 12km west of Gloucester. From Gloucester take the Thunderbolts Way road for around 7km then turn left on to Scone road. The road into the camping ground is a gravel road but can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan.
The camping ground offers over one hundred individual campsites. The best spot is towards the left near the trees, as you enter the campground. This area provides ample shade and protection.
The Copeland Reserve campground only really provides opportunities for various ball games. The picnic tables can come in handy for a game of cards or other board games.
Best Time To Go
The weather and elevation of the campground mean that it can be visited at any time. Ample grass also helps camping in all conditions.
