Access
The Charleyong Crossing camping ground is very easy to access. The camping ground is located 2.5km off the Nerriga Road, with the turnoff approximately 1km from Charleyong. The road into the camping ground is a gravel road (Stewarts Road), but can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan.
Best Spot
The camping ground offers around five individual campsites. The camping ground is subject to flooding so the best spot is the higher ground.
Activities
Given the location of the Charleyong Crossing campground, it offers numerous activities. Activities available for campers include fishing, swimming and kayaking in the river. The ability to launch larger watercraft is difficult.
Best Time To Go
Given the campground is subject to flooding, it is recommended that the campground is visited during the dryer months.
