Located in the Monga State Park in south eastern New South Wales, Araluen Creek is located around a two minute drive from the small town of Araluen. Araluen Creek doesn't have all that many activities to do, but is still a very picturesque location which will provide a great holiday location.
The Araluen Creek camping ground is very easy to access. The camping ground is located 23km south of Braidwood on the Araluen Road, with the campground 200m off the main road down Majors Creek - Araluen Road. The road into the camping ground is a gravel road but can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan.
The camping ground offers over one hundred individual campsites. The camping ground provides plenty of shaded spots, so there is no actual "Best" location.
As previously mentioned, the Araluen Creek campground does not provide opportunity for a large array of activities. There is however ample space for ball games and a small creek to have some fun at.
Best Time To Go
The camping ground is not subject to flooding, however it is recommended that the campground is visited during the warmer months as it can get quite cold during winter.
