Located in the Abercrombie National Park, west of Sydney, the Abercrombie River Camp is located around a twenty minute drive from the small town of Lyndhurst. Abercrombie offers all the benefits of a camping ground on a river, specifically fishing in this case.
The Abercrombie camping ground is very easy to access. The camping ground is located just off the main road, on the south side of the river, 5km north of Tuena. The road into the camping ground is a gravel road but can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive and caravan.
The camping ground offers between 30 and 40 individual campsites. Each individual campsite offers the same great experience so there is really no "Best Spot".
The only activity available at the Abercrombie campground is limited fishing in the river. The river doesn't provide a great opportunity for swimming.
Best Time To Go
Although the campground is located next to the river, the time of year that this location is visited, will generally have no impact on your overall experience.
